Our strenghts
We build integrated solutions for your hydroelectric plants from 2 to 500 kW. Our customised support is based on the relationship of trust that we maintain with you. We are with you on each step of the specification and realisation of the project, to offer you the best solutions for you and your site. We will guide you until the realisation of your plant, will it be only for a turbine of for a whole turnkey project.
Our story
We are differents actors from hydropower and industry fields, gathered to maintain and develop an historic expertise: conception, realisation and assembly of low power hydroelectric turbines, as well as their accessories.
After the shutdown of an historic manufacturer of hydroelectric turbines in Toul, we decided to combine our skills to save and improve these products which would have disappeared. We created together this company whose name is inspired by the fugu fish, an asian fish with an outstanding taste, but only open for those who know how to prepare it...
Our goal
We noticed how difficult it was to realise a project of installation or renovation of an hydroelectric plant without having to talk with a lot of people. We want to offer an easy and efficient solution to allow you to realise your projects without spending all your energy in the process. We will provide you with reliable and honest advice, as well as innovative and modern solutions (like our hydroeletric group implantation system, or the FUGU-Box) to find the right price for your project. And we optimise your project at every step to guarantee you a quick return on investment.

Paul de Margon
Co-fondateur & CEO
Paul de Margon leads FUGU-Tech office.
Since he co-founded Fugu-Tech in 2020, Paul has been covering strategic and operational issues in the engineering and maintenance of hydroelectric power plant turbines. Paul has extensive expertise in the fields of water, environment and renewable energies. His technical skills are in mechanics and hydraulics.
Before co-founding FUGU-Tech, he carried out studies in the field of hydroelectricity and then worked for GE Power in the maintenance of French nuclear turbines.
During his studies, he worked at French navy as Navy officer in submarines strategic force aboard a nuclear-powered ballistic missile submarine.

Thibault de Reure
Partner co-founder
Thibault de Reure is a co-founder and partner of FUGU-Tech.
Since co-founding FUGU-Tech in 2020, Thibault has put his skills as a civil engineer at the service of the company.
A graduate of the ESTP, Thibault worked as a manager at Maulini Entreprise Générale. Thibault has in-depth expertise in the scientific and technical fields specific to the construction sector. His expertise covers subjects such as the mastery of major environmental issues combined with the major challenges of today’s and tomorrow’s construction.
Jacques de Reure passed on his passion of hydraulic to his son. Thibault operates and modernises the many hydroelectric power plants of his father, while creating new ones. Thibault has the expertise and the ambition for this field and aspires to give FUGU-Tech a leading position in the French and European small hydroelectricity market.

Partner
Buracco is a partner of FUGU-Tech.
Buracco is a French company specialising in the design and manufacture of a wide range of high-performance butterfly and check valves. For more than 130 years, they have been used in the fields of oil and gas, power generation, industrial processes and HVAC sectors.
Convinced by the energy transition project led by FUGU-Tech, Buracco finds in this start-up the values of sustainable development and respect for the environment to which it is attached.
Supporting the determination to become more involved in the energy transition in its daily work and in its business activities, Buracco is making its premises and workshops available to FUGU-Tech.
